Anutin Says No Issues with Nhim Julphan, Denies Political Deal with Pheu Thai Party

Anutin said he has a good relationship with Nhim Julphan with no issues, denying any political deal with the Pheu Thai Party to join the Bhumjaithai government. He added that he is not thinking that far ahead and believes that the conflicts from attack speeches are not taken seriously.

At 14:20 on 10 February 2026, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul gave an interview at the College of Local Administration, Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani Province, regarding Julphan Amornwiwat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party, who wore a blue T-shirt and light blue suit during a press conference. Anutin exclaimed “Oh” with a smile, then asked reporters to look at the image before saying, "Now it’s not ‘Nhim’ or ‘Noo’ anymore—Nhim is lovely." When a reporter pressed whether this implied coordination talks to join the government, Anutin firmly denied it, saying, "There’s really nothing like that. We already get along well. When we meet, we talk. Maybe on stage they call me ‘Noo’ casually, but when we meet in person they call me ‘Pee Noo’ (older brother Noo), believe me."

When asked further if this implied readiness to join the government, Anutin said he has not thought that far ahead. Everyone must play their roles. He believes that whenever they meet, they will smile and talk about what they can do for the country. He insisted that conflicts from attack speeches will not be considered, and any teasing is not a matter of personal conflict at all.
