Prime Minister Thanks Prachinburi Residents for Overwhelming Support, Promises Khon La Khrueng Plus Program

Anutin rushed to thank the people of Prachinburi for overwhelmingly voting for the Bhumjaithai Party across the province, promising that the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" program will definitely be implemented if his party continues to govern.

On 10 February 2026 at the Prachinburi Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO), Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior as well as leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, met with the public to express gratitude after the party swept the parliamentary seats across Prachinburi province. The atmosphere was lively. Upon arrival, Anutin greeted Territorial Defense Volunteers (Or Sor) and groups of students waiting to welcome him, with many students requesting photos and autographs.

Later, Anutin met with Village Health Volunteers (VHVs) and local leaders. He mentioned the "Khon La Khrueng Plus Phase 2" program, expressing regret that the early dissolution of parliament prevented approval of the program in time for the recent Chinese New Year festival. However, he assured that if his party returns to government and Ekniti Nitithanprapas serves as finance minister, the program will definitely be implemented.

Regarding the Thai-Cambodian border situation, Anutin proudly affirmed that the government has reclaimed the land and removed those who had occupied it. Every inch now fully belongs to Thailand. Moving forward, the government will expedite development to ensure safety so residents can resume their livelihoods normally. Concerning the opening and closing of border checkpoints, he confirmed they will remain closed until Thailand is confident that the neighboring country is clear and that Thailand gains maximum benefit, especially regarding agricultural product prices.

During the meeting, a representative of the VHVs pressed for progress on VHV legislation. Anutin promised to bring the matter for consideration and said that if his government holds a parliamentary majority, it will fully push the legislation forward. He jokingly remarked on his closeness with VHVs, saying "VHVs are like my father (Anutin)," adding that no other prime minister would have people standing around giving him instructions like this. He urged confidence that he is aware and will take action.

Additionally, Anutin emphasized his administrative principles, stating that if he remains head of government, there will be no partisan favoritism. If any coalition party's project benefits the people, is legal, and does not affect financial discipline, he will fully support it because a prime minister must be generous.

After the meeting, Anutin Charnvirakul, along with Songsak Thongsri, Traisuli Taisornkul, and the three prospective Prachinburi MPs from all districts, rode a parade truck around Prachinburi market to thank voters. Residents waved and offered flowers along the route. Later, he walked to meet citizens at the Prachinburi walking street market, where many requested updates on the "Khon La Khrueng Plus" policy and took photos with him.
