Rambo Resigns from New Opportunity Party Not a Breakdown but Normal Political Process

The spokesperson for the New Opportunity Party explained that "Rambo Isan"'s resignation is a normal political occurrence, not a breakdown, and the party is ready to continue pursuing its ideology after securing one parliamentary seat as an initial foundation.

On 10 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Siriwit Chuangsen, a spokesperson for the New Opportunity Party, clarified that Mr. Seksakol Attawong, known as "Rambo Isan," announced his resignation from the party after the election, citing misunderstandings or communication issues within the party during the election period. He said such issues can happen and are normal in political work amid intense competition. The party does not view this case as a serious conflict but as a difference in working views. He affirmed that the party respects Seksakol's decision and holds no grudges.

The New Opportunity Party spokesperson emphasized that politics requires mutual understanding. When opinions differ, the party is open to listening, and when members choose their own paths, the party respects those decisions. Despite personnel changes, the New Opportunity Party continues to advance its ideology and political direction. Currently, the party has one member of parliament serving in the House, Ms. Rosarin, representing Constituency 2 in Uttaradit Province, who is fully representing the people in parliament.

The New Opportunity Party spokesperson concluded that the party remains committed to working for the people, focusing on solving livelihood issues and managing the country constructively. The party is open to opinions from all sectors to strengthen itself and better serve the people in the future.
