Prachachart Party Issues Statement Demanding Election Commission Probe Election Fraud in Pattani and Narathiwat Constituency 4

The Prachachart Party has issued a statement demanding the Election Commission investigate election fraud in the Pattani and Narathiwat Constituency 4 MP elections, confirming irregularities in vote counting and that some state officials acted without neutrality.

On 10 Feb 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that the party held its first committee meeting of 2026, where it resolved to issue a statement urging the Election Commission to investigate complaints regarding the 8 February 2026 elections in Pattani and Narathiwat Constituency 4.

The statement said that following the 8 February 2026 election, the Prachachart Party respects the democratic process and the rights of all eligible voters. However, after the election, the party convened its executive committee on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, at its Don Mueang office in Bangkok. The meeting received reports of complaints and information from the party’s task force and election observers in several areas that might affect the integrity and fairness of the election process as follows.

Case of exercising political civil rights. Complaints were raised that rival party workers pressured or prevented the Prachachart Party from campaigning or engaging in political activities, including attempts to persuade voters to abstain from voting for Prachachart, which may constitute unfair practices against political competition.

Case of abuse of state power.

Reports indicated that some state officials may have acted to assist one side in the polling stations, which, if true, undermines the neutrality of the election process.

Regarding vote counting observations, the party received initial information about irregularities at certain polling stations, possibly involving ballot additions or alterations, causing vote tallies to deviate from the actual results.

The Prachachart Party affirms that presenting this information aims to protect the integrity, transparency, and public confidence in the election system, not to make baseless accusations. The party will gather evidence and submit petitions to relevant authorities to request a fair, transparent, and lawful investigation.

The party calls on all parties to respect democratic rules and jointly uphold election standards accepted by society to ensure election results truly reflect the people's will.
