Piangphano Boonklam, a professional in state reform, tagged Teng and Mai to announce her continued support for the People’s Party despite it not forming the government. She noted that holding a position is not important after seeing Thailand’s corruption index fall to its lowest in 19 years, now behind Laos.
On 10 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Miss Piangphano Boonklam, one of the ten state reform professionals of the People's Party, posted on her personal Facebook after learning the election results. She tagged Mr. Natthaphong Ruangpanyawut, the party leader, and Miss Sirikanya Tansakul, the deputy leader, saying that the personal messages she received after her first interview aired on 9 Jan were already very encouraging and supportive. After the election results, messages of encouragement and concern increased further. Many who got to know her through presentations, discussions, or social media channels sent similar messages, some even privately.
"Many have pleaded, 'Please don’t leave, we still want to hold on to hope.'"
Party team members who had the chance to work with her said, "May we continue learning from P’Maew even if it’s not possible?" Reading these made her eyes well up.
Being older than most party members by at least one career cycle, she has experienced hopes, disappointments, pressure, excitement, wins, and losses, thus understanding life fairly well and gradually managing it better.
After the election, she traveled to the south as planned long ago, so she was not present at the party’s vote counting atmosphere.
Amid nature—the mountains and sea that bring peace to her mind—she had the opportunity to reflect. Observing the current situation, including the latest corruption perception index where Thailand’s ranking dropped further to its lowest in 19 years and now behind Laos, she found her answer. "I will continue to help the younger party members move the work forward, even though the party will not form the government."
At least, she will share her knowledge, experience, and intentions as previously stated for the younger team members to benefit from.
"It does not matter whether I hold any position or not. I still believe that a good life is a useful life. I’ll Do What I Can When I Can."
