Sudarat, leader of the Thai Sang Thai Party, urges the Election Commission (EC) to take responsibility for suspicious election issues repeating those of 2023. She exposes widespread "ballots born inside the box" problems nationwide and demands the EC release Open Data to restore public trust before the situation worsens.
On 11 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, leader of the Thai Sang Thai Party (TST), spoke about irregularities in this election, describing them as a replay of the flaws seen in the 2023 election. However, this time the issues are more severe with a significantly larger number of cases. Particularly concerning is the confidence crisis caused by "ballot padding," where the number of ballots recorded in the system exceeds the actual number of voters, an abnormality fitting the definition of "ballots born inside the box." This is a serious irregularity that should never occur in a fair and honest election system.
"I want to emphasize that the EC, as an independent organization responsible for election oversight, must urgently act to resolve this situation before it escalates. The key to restoring the organization's credibility and trustworthiness lies in performing its duties transparently and openly by releasing data as clear, verifiable Open Data at every stage. This approach truly respects the rights and voices of the people. If the EC continues to allow ambiguous information that breeds widespread distrust, it may trigger protests and a severe rejection of confidence in the independent institution. Therefore, before it is too late, the EC must make all figures transparent and fair to every voter."
