Thitsana Chunhawat has dropped another bombshell, demanding that Nattapong resign for lacking leadership. She accused him of failing by supporting Bhumjaithai, selecting candidates involved in money laundering, ignoring online gambling issues, and questioned his responsibility as the country's leader. Before the election, she even took a photo with Teng to show support for the leader.
On 11 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Ms. Thitsana Chunhawat, former Bangkok MP of the People's Party, posted on her Instagram story criticizing Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, the party leader, for failing to lead the party to election victory. She called for him to resign, stating, “Please resign; you lack leadership.” She then posted another photo of Nattapong, commenting, “He is not capable of leadership. Teng, you are not talented. Despite repeated mistakes, you have not taken responsibility by resigning since you supported Bhumjaithai and failed. That was strike one. Strike two involved selecting candidates linked to drug money laundering worth 20 billion baht. Strike three was ignoring online gambling issues until the matter gained attention later. You should have resigned after these three incidents if you had global prime ministerial ethics. Yet you cling to power despite lacking ability, leading to this situation.”
There are millions of better people across the country. Please relinquish power. At the party leader election, you were the only candidate; was there any other choice? It felt like a forced hand, even though I never saw any leadership ability in you.”
She also shared news featuring Nattapong stating, “I feel sorry, sorry that the outcome turned out like this.” Thitsana added, “Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. Where is the responsibility as the country's leader?”
Reporters noted that on 1 Sep 2025 GMT+7, during the People's Party pre-election fundraising event, Thitsana attended and posed for a photo with Nattapong, posting that she “fully supports and encourages our leader during these difficult times and major political changes. We urge everyone to uphold the highest interests of the people and democratic principles.”
