Gen. Rangsee Visits Bhumjaithai Party, Received by Chada Hints at Possible Coalition Talks and Border Issues Discussion

Gen. Rangsee, leader of the Economic Party, visited the Bhumjaithai Party and was welcomed by Chada. He hinted at joining the government coalition and mentioned discussions on politics and border issues. He believes a vote recount is possible to uncover the truth.

At 11:30 a.m. on 12 February 2026, Gen. Rangsee Kitiyanansap, leader of the Economic Party, arrived at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, where Mr. Chada Thaiset, a Bhumjaithai Party leader, welcomed him. Mr. Chada stated that he invited Gen. Rangsee to discuss political pathways and to consult with him due to his experience with border matters.

When asked whether this signaled a coalition government, Mr. Chada replied that this had not been discussed yet because the Members of Parliament have not yet been certified.

Asked about whether the policies of both parties align, Mr. Chada said that senior party policymakers should respond to that. However, he added that the Economic Party is a competent party and he respects all political parties, whether they succeeded or failed in entering parliament.

Additionally, Mr. Chada addressed calls for a new vote count, stating that if there is discomfort, a nationwide recount should be conducted to clarify suspicions and reveal the truth. This would expose any fraud, or if there was no cheating, it would confirm the facts and dismiss accusations.
