At 13:30 on 12 Feb 2026 at the Bhumjaithai Party office, Ms. Boonthida Somchai, Bhumjaithai Party spokesperson, and Mr. Chaichonok Chidchob, party secretary-general, held their first official joint press conference with Mr. Suratin Pichan, prospective MP from the New Democracy Party, and Ms. Nawinda Sawatdechdee, prospective party-list MP from the new party.
Ms. Boonthida Somchai stated that Mr. Suratin Pichan, prospective MP of the New Democracy Party, Ms. Nawinda Sawatdechdee, prospective party-list MP of the new party, and General Rangsee Kitiyanansap, leader of the Economic Party, have confirmed their support for Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, to become Prime Minister once the parliament has been officially convened and endorsed.
