Administrative officers have begun removing ballot boxes from "Chonburi Constituency 1" amid boos from the crowd. Although the atmosphere was tense, no violent incidents occurred.
At 10:00 p.m. on 12 February 2026 GMT+7, reports indicated that trucks arrived at the gymnasium used as the collection point for ballots from Chonburi Constituency 1 to begin transporting the ballot boxes according to the plan set by the Election Commission (EC).
Provincial administrative officers of Chonburi, along with relevant personnel, arrived to prepare for moving the ballot boxes to the storage location designated by the EC. Initially, officials began gradually lifting the ballot boxes to load them onto the trucks.
However, as soon as the attempt to move the ballot boxes began, a group of protesters who had been stationed at the site shouted boos and expressed loud dissatisfaction throughout the area, reflecting their distrust of the process.
Although the atmosphere was filled with tension and pressure from both sides, the overall situation remained under control. No violence or clashes occurred. Police and administrative officers were deployed widely to maintain order and prevent escalation.
By 10:50 p.m., administrative officers from Chonburi province were steadily removing the ballot boxes amid the crowd's boos and applause as onlookers watched the event unfold.
