Peoples Party Denies IO Allegations by Thitsana, Tours Media Room on 4th Floor

Parit asked the public to judge the issue raised by Thitsana, reaffirming that the People's Party has no IO. He admitted the party once hired Specter C to produce media and took the media on a tour of the 4th floor, which is the workspace of the registration and legal departments.

On 14 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Parit Watcharasinthu, spokesperson for the People's Party, addressed allegations made by Ms. Thitsana Chunhawat, former Bangkok MP of the People's Party. She claimed in an interview on a program that the People's Party hired Specter C, located on the 4th floor of the Future Forward party office, to conduct information operations (IO).

Parit insisted the People's Party did not hire any company to carry out IO. He said they are currently considering what additional verification processes are needed to clear public doubts. Specter C is a company the party previously hired to produce media for the party's page, such as graphics and videos. When hired, funding from the Election Commission is used with explanations according to relevant regulations and laws. The company's details are publicly accessible. He reiterated that the People's Party does not conduct IO. The 4th floor of the Future Forward building serves as the office for the party's permanent staff, including the registration and legal departments. They have never restricted access for filming in that area.

When asked if he had spoken privately with Ms. Thitsana, Parit said that if the party receives criticism from the public or former staff, they monitor the issues being raised. If the accusations are factual errors, such as claims about IO, they clarify the facts to the public. For individual opinions expressed, he said the public should be the judge.

Reporters noted that after the press conference, Kittichai Techakulwanich, deputy leader of the People's Party, and Parit Watcharasinthu, spokesperson, took the media to see the workrooms on the 3rd and 4th floors that had been alleged to be IO rooms used to attack other parties.
