Anutin Visits Wife Ja Thananon’s Hometown, Drives Ranongs Red Wood Minibus to Thank Locals, Praises Bhumjaithai Party

Anutin Chanvirakul, accompanied by Warawut and Traisulee, visited the hometown of his wife Ja Thananon. He made the "Plus" hand gesture and personally drove a Ranong red wood minibus to thank the people of Ranong for their support, which helped Kongkrit win the parliamentary seat for Ranong under the Bhumjaithai Party.


On 15 Feb 2026, reporters reported that Anutin Chanvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as leader of the Bhumjaithai Party and prime ministerial candidate, visited Ranong province to thank the people, which is the hometown of his wife, Ms. Thananon Niramit, known as Ja, with whom he recently registered their marriage on 13 Feb 2026.

Photos showed Anutin personally driving a Ranong red wood minibus, the official provincial vehicle of Ranong, to thank locals after the 2026 election. Warawut Silpa-archa, Bhumjaithai party list MP-elect, took the photo and said, "The whole team is here." Also accompanying them were Traisulee Traisoranakul, the Prime Minister's Secretary-General and Bhumjaithai Party registrar, and Ms. Thananon.

Additionally, there were photos of Anutin, Warawut, Traisulee, and Kongkrit Chatmaleerat, the MP-elect for Ranong from Bhumjaithai, posing on the red wood minibus making the "Plus" gesture, which is the party’s signature sign. In Ranong, the Bhumjaithai Party won one parliamentary seat: Kongkrit won decisively with more than 50,000 votes ahead of his rivals.

Meanwhile, Anutin also postedon his personal Facebook pageat 13:42, a photo of himself driving with the group, accompanied by a message saying "I came to sincerely thank the people of Ranong province. While awaiting official results, we will travel to thank all provinces that have kindly supported the Bhumjaithai Party."


The atmosphere in Ranong was lively, with citizens warmly welcoming them, waving, engaging in close conversations, and requesting many commemorative photos. Anutin expressed gratitude for their trust and emphasized that the team will work diligently to represent the people's voices toward regional development and policies that improve living standards.

This visit was not only to thank the people but also to reaffirm the commitment to serve citizens in every province, aiming for stable national progress, a strong economy, and continued prosperity. Throughout the trip, many Ranong residents congratulated and encouraged them, confident that the new government will effectively drive the country forward and tangibly raise the quality of life for the people.
