Anutin Arrives at Government House Ahead of 141st Anniversary Celebration at Assumption College Bangrak This Afternoon

Prime Minister Anutin entered the Government House before traveling to preside over the 141st anniversary celebration at Assumption College Bangrak this afternoon.


At 11:50 a.m. on 16 Feb 2026 GMT+7. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. He arrived to perform his duties at the Thai Khu Fah Building, Government House, followed by the vehicle of Atsit Sampantharat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior. Earlier, Patthana Promphat, Minister of Public Health, had arrived at the Thai Khu Fah Building at 10:30 a.m. to await the Prime Minister.

This afternoon, the Prime Minister is scheduled to preside over the opening ceremony of the 141st anniversary celebration at the Saint Louis-Marie Memorial Building, Assumption College Bangrak, on Charoen Krung Road, Bangrak district, Bangkok. Meanwhile, at the Government House Building 1 today, Deputy Prime Minister Bowornsak Uwanno and Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office Pradorn Prisana Nantakul carried out their duties as usual.

The reporter added that Anutin is an alumnus of Assumption College, Class 98, student ID 25684, who began studying there from grade 1 in 1972 until completing grade 12. He was also a musician in the school's band (AC BAND). Anutin was named an “Outstanding Assumptionite” during the school's 135th anniversary on 16 Feb 2020.

Assumption College has had four previous prime ministers among its alumni: Phraya Manopakorn Nitithada, Mom Rajawongse Seni Pramoj, Major General Khuang Aphaiwong, and Professor Sanya Dharmasakti. The latest is Anutin, who is the fifth alumnus to serve as prime minister in the past 50 years.
