
Anutin discussed with Pattana, Minister of Public Health, about maintaining rights for families of personnel who died on the Thai-Cambodian border. The proposal will be submitted to the Cabinet meeting on 17 Feb 2026 before the Prime Minister pays respects to the Norasingh statue at the corridor of the Thai Khu Fa building.
On 16 February 2026, reporters reported that after Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul arrived at the Thai Khu Fa building, Government House, at 11:50 a.m., he had lunch together with Pattana Promphat, Minister of Public Health, who had arrived earlier.
Pattana met with the Prime Minister to discuss adjusting the medical rights for military personnel who died in the line of duty at the Thai-Cambodian border. They agreed to maintain these rights for the parents and heirs of the deceased soldiers, and the proposal will be presented at the Cabinet meeting on 17 February.
After the meeting concluded, at 1:31 p.m., Anutin paid respects to the Norasingh statue replica at the corridor of the Thai Khu Fa building. He then left Government House at 1:33 p.m. to preside over the 141st anniversary celebration of Assumption School at the Saint Louis-Marie Memorial Building, Assumption School, Bang Rak, Charoen Krung Road, Bang Rak District, Bangkok.
