
Pradorn, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, thanked the Election Commission (EC) for approving a 2.2 billion baht flood relief budget and expects the funds to reach the public within this week after the Budget Bureau transferred the budget to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) today.
On 17 February 2026, Mr. Pradorn Prissanantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, expressed gratitude to the Election Commission (EC) for approving additional budget to pay flood relief to assist people affected in the lower northern, central, and southern regions. From now on, no one will have to wait any longer.
Mr. Pradorn added that after the EC's approval, the Budget Bureau will transfer the funds to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) today. It is expected that the relief payments will reach the people within this week. The budget, amounting to 2.203 billion baht, follows the Cabinet resolution on 13 January 2026 to assist those eligible who missed earlier registration rounds, continuing from the previous two rounds of relief payments.
