
The Election Commission has ordered recounts of parliamentary and referendum votes at 9 locations across 5 provinces: Pathum Thani, Bangkok, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phetchabun, Kamphaeng Phet, and Sakon Nakhon. It has also ordered re-voting at 4 locations in Udon Thani, Nan, Bangkok, and Phayao.
On 17 Feb 2026, the Election Commission Office announced the recounts and re-voting decisions made at the 12 Feb meeting. Specifically, the recount of parliamentary election votes—both constituency and party-list ballots—for out-of-district and overseas votes in Pathum Thani's 7th electoral district will take place on 19 Feb 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the dome building beside the Nong Suea District Office in Pathum Thani.
The public is also encouraged to exercise their voting rights again at 3 polling stations on 22 Feb 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including: 1. Re-voting for the parliamentary election party-list ballot only at polling station 4 in the 6th electoral district, Phon Sung Subdistrict, Chaiwan District, Udon Thani.
2. Re-voting for the parliamentary election constituency ballot only at polling station 3 in the 1st electoral district, Chai Sathan Subdistrict, Mueang Nan District, Nan.
3. Re-voting for both parliamentary election constituency and party-list ballots and the referendum at polling station and referendum voting station 9 in the 15th electoral district, Khan Na Yao Subdistrict, Bangkok.
Additional recounts ordered at 8 locations and re-voting at 1 location in Phayao.
The Election Commission Office further announced that the Commission resolved to add 8 more recount locations and 1 more re-voting location as follows: 1. Recounting of referendum votes at polling station 10 in the 15th referendum district, Khan Na Yao Subdistrict, Khan Na Yao District, Bangkok, on Sunday, 22 Feb 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the original voting site.
2. Recounting of parliamentary election party-list votes at 7 locations as follows:
1. Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, 1st electoral district, Sam Roi Yot District, polling station 2, Rai Mai Subdistrict.
2. Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, 1st electoral district, Sam Roi Yot District, polling station 8, Sam Roi Yot Subdistrict.
3. Phetchabun Province, 1st electoral district, Mueang Phetchabun District, polling station 1, Nai Mu Subdistrict.
4. Phetchabun Province, 4th electoral district, Nong Phai District, polling station 2, Nong Phai Subdistrict.
5. Kamphaeng Phet Province, 1st electoral district, Mueang Kamphaeng Phet District, polling station 8, Nikom Thung Pho Thale Subdistrict.
6. Kamphaeng Phet Province, 1st electoral district, Mueang Kamphaeng Phet District, polling station 14, Thep Nakhon Subdistrict.
7. Sakon Nakhon Province, 1st electoral district, Mueang Sakon Nakhon District, polling station 32, That Choeng Chum Subdistrict.
3. Re-voting for both constituency and party-list parliamentary ballots at Phayao Province, 1st electoral district, Mueang Phayao District, polling station 6, Tha Wang Thong Subdistrict.
Details regarding the date, time, and location of the recounts and re-voting for points 2 and 3 will be announced later.
Reporters note that including the 4 locations previously ordered for recounts and re-voting, the Election Commission has now ordered recounts at 9 locations and re-voting at 4 locations.
Reports indicate there remain polling stations under investigation by the Election Commission. If the office completes its review in time, additional locations will be proposed for consideration at the Commission's next meeting, possibly later this week or the following week.
