Prime Minister Anutin Extends Ramadan Blessings to Thai Muslims, Prays for Allahs Favor

The Prime Minister sent greetings to welcome the month of Ramadan for the Hijri year 1447, extending best wishes and praying for Allah's blessings upon Thai Muslim brothers and sisters across the country.

On 18 February 2026 at 20:00, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul spoke on the occasion of welcoming Ramadan for the year 2026 CE (Hijri 1447), stating:

"Greetings to all beloved Thai Muslims. On the auspicious occasion of Ramadan for the Hijri year 1447, on behalf of the government, I send my best wishes and join in congratulating all Muslims who will partake in the important religious observance of fasting.

Ramadan is a month of testing faith and patience of the heart, as well as a time to cultivate compassion, sharing, and purify the soul. It is a valuable period for all Muslim brothers and sisters.

These beautiful values form a vital foundation for building a supportive, caring society that lives together in peace. It is also an excellent opportunity to devote oneself with faith, reflecting on the Holy Quran which Allah has bestowed upon Muslims to guide and practice in daily life.

"On this auspicious occasion, I pray that the gracious Lord will grant mercy, contentment, and robust health to all Thai Muslims, enabling them to fully and successfully observe their religious duties according to sacred principles, bringing happiness and prosperity to themselves, their families, and the nation. May peace and well-being be with you all."
