Parit Urges Media to Stop Bullying His Dental Health, Confirms Past Issues Have Been Treated

Parit urged the media to stop bullying him over his dental health, confirming he once had problems but has since been treated. He asked that the issue no longer be used as a topic and that time be spent investigating matters of public interest instead.

At 14:00 on 20 Feb 2026, Parit Vacharasinthu, a party-list MP candidate and spokesperson for the People’s Party, posted on his personal Facebook page to clarify criticism regarding his dental health. He said he initially did not intend to address the issue publicly, but over the past day, he noticed some major news outlets and various pages had resurfaced old photos and coverage about his dental health problems.

Parit admitted that he had experienced dental health issues requiring more frequent doctor visits than average. However, the images currently being circulated are old photos from a past period, while he has already completed treatment some time ago.

He affirmed that he is open to constructive criticism related to his work or lifestyle that is beneficial, and is willing to listen, correct, and improve himself. He only hopes that once the facts are known, the media will stop pursuing this topic so that he and all parties involved—including the media outlets reporting on this—can fully focus on scrutinizing those in power (such as the Election Commission, government, and political parties) to protect the public interest.
