The Palang Pracharath Party has called an executive committee meeting on 24 February to seek approval supporting “Anutin” as prime minister ahead of the party's general meeting on 7 March, where “Trinuch Thienthong” will be appointed as the next party leader.
On 21 February 2026, reporters reported that Ms. Trinuch Thienthong, the incoming MP for Sa Kaeo and acting leader of the Palang Pracharath Party, will call a meeting of the party's executive committee on 24 February at 13:30 to seek the committee's approval for five incoming party MPs to support Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, as prime minister.
It has been reported that on 7 March, the Palang Pracharath Party will hold a party meeting to seek approval to appoint Ms. Trinuch as the next leader of the Palang Pracharath Party.
