Bhumjaithai Party received 8 seats in total: 4 ministerial and 4 deputy ministerial. Initially, Pheu Thai has nominated Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai's prime ministerial candidate, to serve as Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), subject to his decision to accept or decline the position.
Recently, it was reported that Mr. Yotsanan is interested in accepting the position, believing he can effectively drive the ministry's work due to his university education experience. On 24 Feb, Bhumjaithai and Pheu Thai will meet again to discuss the allocation of cabinet seats.
