Urgent recruitment for Thai men to work in Israeli agriculture with salaries over 60,000 baht. Applications open on the Thai Overseas Workers website from 24-25 February.


On 22 February 2026, Ms. Airin Punrit, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the government, through the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labor, is accepting applications to select workers for agricultural jobs in Israel under the project. “Thailand-Israel Cooperation on the Placement of Workers” (Thailand-Israel Cooperation on the Placement of Workers: TIC) round 20 for male agricultural workers, aiming to provide Thai workers the opportunity to work abroad, earn income for themselves and their families, contribute to the country’s income, and gain agricultural technology and experience to develop the country and their professions — a key government policy.

Regarding the employment contract lasting 2 years, renewable up to 5 years and 3 months, with a minimum monthly salary before tax of 6,247 Israeli shekels, approximately 62,000 baht. (Depending on exchange rates)  

Applicant qualifications

1. Male, Thai nationality

2. Completed military service

3. Aged 23-39 years (born between 24 February 1987 and 25 February 2003)

4. No criminal record

5. Never worked in Israel; no spouse, children, or parents residing in Israel

6. Good health; not colorblind; free from contagious diseases; not addicted to drugs or alcohol

7. Must have experience working in agriculture

Interested applicants can apply via the website Thai Overseas Workers to register in the electronic system of the Overseas Thai Workers Administration Division from 24-25 February 2026. Ms. Airin added that this recruitment is a government-arranged overseas employment program. Applicants do not pay application or processing fees, except for travel expenses to Israel if selected, estimated at about 92,650 baht (subject to exchange rates), divided into two parts:

1. Pre-departure costs such as criminal background check fees, passport application fees, health examination fees, one-way airfare from Thailand to Israel, membership fees for the Overseas Workers Assistance Fund as determined by the Ministry of Labor, etc.

2. Costs incurred after arrival as required by Israeli law.

If anyone falsely claims they can help secure selection for agricultural work in Israel, please do not believe them and report or verify information with the Department of Employment first.
