The “People’s Party” held a major seminar to review their election defeat and intensively train MPs to handle the political situation. Participants were divided into groups to discuss why the party lost in some constituencies.
On 22 February at Rama Gardens Hotel in Bangkok, the People’s Party held a major seminar featuring party leaders and Progressives leaders such as Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, chairman of the Progressives, and Piyabutr Saengkanokkul, secretary-general of the Progressives, who served as speakers. Over 500 prospective and current People’s Party MPs, including those on party lists and constituency candidates, attended. The event focused on reviewing lessons from the recent election and preparing new MPs for their roles, as well as equipping them to respond to future political developments. The seminar began on 21 February.
During today’s seminar, participants were organized into small groups by constituency areas to summarize lessons learned about why the People’s Party did not win in certain areas, allowing opportunities to exchange information and opinions.
