After the visit, Miss Pinthongta left the prison smiling, greeting the people who had come to inquire about Thaksin's condition, stating, “Father is well. In two weeks, he will have completed six months in prison.” She thanked everyone for the support sent to the family. Today's conversation was routine, exchanging well-wishes and encouragement, confirming that the former prime minister's health remains good.
When reporters asked about recent political rumors concerning ministerial reshuffles, particularly about Mr. Yossanan Wongsawat, or “Ajarn Chen,” the Pheu Thai Party’s prime ministerial candidate rumored to take the post of Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Miss Pinthongta briefly said that no discussion on this topic took place with her father today. Regarding politics, her father said it should be left to the Pheu Thai Party.
