On 23 February 2026, Jatuporn Buruspaty, leader of the New Opportunity Party, stated that the party has clearly decided to support the Bhumjaithai Party (BJT) in forming a government and to back Anutin Charnvirakul, BJT leader, as prime minister unconditionally. Coordination talks have been completed, reflecting the will of the majority of the people who trust the BJT. The New Opportunity Party will join efforts to advance work for the nation and its citizens.
Jatuporn added that the official announcement of the coalition is expected after the Election Commission (EC) formally certifies the election results. Preliminary discussions have been completed, and the New Opportunity Party will also advance its own policy agenda.
The New Opportunity Party won one constituency seat through Ms. Warasarin Saranket, the candidate for Uttaradit Constituency 2, who is the daughter of Saranyawut Saranket, a former four-term MP for Uttaradit.
