Election Commission Yet to Certify Results for 4 Constituencies Alongside 100-Name Party List

Four constituencies remain uncertified by the Election Commission, along with a 100-name party list, due to ordered re-voting and vote recounts. Certification of all 500 MPs is expected by early March.

On 24 Feb 2026 at 18:30 GMT+7 at the Election Commission office, reporters learned that the commission is preparing to certify 396 constituency MPs. However, 4 constituencies are expected to remain uncertified because the commission has ordered re-voting and vote recounts on 1 Feb. These include Phayao Province Constituency 1, Suphanburi Province Constituency 2 polling station 1 and 4, Chanthaburi Province Constituency 1 polling station 6, and Constituency 2 polling station 8.

Regarding the 100-name party list MPs, the Election Commission must await results from vote recounts at 16 polling stations across 10 provinces. These recounts are scheduled for 26 Feb and 1 Mar. The provinces and stations include Phayao Constituency 1 polling station 6; Prachuap Khiri Khan Constituency 1 stations 2 and 8; Phetchabun Constituencies 1 station 1 and 4 station 2; Kamphaeng Phet Constituency 1 stations 8 and 14; Sakon Nakhon Constituency 1 station 32; Suphanburi Constituency 1 station 11, Constituency 2 stations 1 and 4; Chanthaburi Constituency 1 station 6, Constituency 2 station 8; Bangkok Constituency 6 station 74; Trang Constituency 4 station 18; and Samut Sakhon Constituency 3 station 33.

After completing the vote recounts, the Election Commission will consider certifying the remaining results in early March to complete the full 500-member House of Representatives. Subsequently, within 15 days after certification, a parliamentary session is expected to convene to elect the Speaker of the Parliament.
