Kanvear Exposes Another Incident: Votes Cast But No Votes Counted Highlights Election Frauds Including Manipulation, Shaking, and Missing Votes

Kanvear, leader of the Plawatt Party, revealed another incident where votes were cast but no votes were counted. He described this election as one that history must record, with all forms of irregularities including manipulation, shaking, and missing votes. Seventeen days have passed and the MP election results are still pending announcement.

On 25 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Mr. Kanvear Suebsang, leader of the Plawatt Party, stated that the Election Commission (EC) is set to certify the MP election results today. It has taken 17 days from election day to reach this stage, which is a considerable amount of time, with about 95% of the results already available for review.

Kanvear pointed out strange anomalies in the 2026 election that should be recorded in the shameful history of Thai politics, including the issue of manipulated ballots—whether in the hundreds or thousands—which is unacceptable. Voting is a supreme right of citizenship in any country. The use of barcodes and QR codes on both party-list and constituency ballots, regardless of how one interprets the secrecy measures, clearly allows for the verification of both stub and cast ballots. Despite strict measures on documents and secrecy protocols, the reality and intent remain that ballots "can be verified."

"I have experience with maintaining official secrets for a long time. No matter the explanations, it cannot be excused because a 'secret' has four elements: 1. There is a fact, 2. Someone knows that fact, 3. The fact is kept without any access channels, and 4. The evidence of that fact cannot be known by others at all."

Kanvear said that on 8 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the election failed to meet the secrecy criteria because elements 3 and 4 were missing; it was not truly secret. The only thing left for those who want to distort the facts is to "interpret" the situation. He also received reports that in the case of re-elections, the situation is even worse: photos of voters were taken and ordered, and could be linked to barcodes.

"For my party, it is even more disgraceful. I received news from a senior colleague in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, at Koh Hong, that at his polling station he voted for number 7, the Plawatt Party. However, when checking the total vote board at that station, there was no count for number 7 of the Plawatt Party at all. He informed the officials, but was only told to check the total vote board, and that was it."

Kanvear said, "Manipulation, shaking, concealment, lack of secrecy, missing votes — what else could there be? What is going on in Thailand? They say the highest power belongs to the people, but seeing the election process like this, that power clearly does not belong to the people."

"I simply call for the power to be returned to the people. Then this country will belong to everyone, not just one person or a specific group."
