Election Commission officials have prepared the venue to issue certificates to MPs after the commission meeting today considered certifying the constituency MP election results.
At 10:00 AM on 25 Feb 2026 at the Election Commission office, Mr. Narong Klanwarin, Chairman of the Election Commission, convened a meeting. A key agenda was to consider certifying the constituency MP election results for no less than 95 percent, or at least 380 out of 400 constituencies.
Additionally, it was reported that the commission's investigative unit would present a report on complaint investigations for the meeting's consideration. This is to decide how many constituency MP results out of the 400 constituencies can be certified. Some constituencies and the 100 party-list MP seats still require re-voting or recounts as ordered by the commission. The commission has instructed its office to complete these processes by 1 March, with an expectation to certify the party-list MP results for 100 seats in early March.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission office has directed staff to prepare the venue for issuing MP certificates at Meeting Room 201, which will be ready for use on 26 Feb 2026. This comes as many media representatives await the commission's meeting outcomes.
