Four Prospective MPs in Three Provinces Not Yet Certified by Election Commission Amid Vote Recount

The Election Commission (EC) revealed that four constituencies across three provinces—Phayao, Suphan Buri, and Chanthaburi—have yet to be certified as vote recounts are ongoing. The four leading prospective MPs in these constituencies are from the Kla Tham Party and the Bhumjaithai Party.


On 25 February 2026, following the announcement by the Election Commission (EC) certifying 396 constituency-based MPs, candidates can collect their certificates of election on 26 February 2026 from 09:00 to 16:30, on 27 February 2026, and from 2 to 6 March 2026 between 08:30 and 16:30, including public holidays, at Meeting Room 201, 2nd Floor, Election Commission Office, Chaeng Watthana Road, Thung Song Hong Subdistrict, Lak Si District, Bangkok. Candidates unable to collect certificates in person must provide a letter of authorization and certified copies of ID cards for both the grantor and the authorized person on those dates.

. Meanwhile, the announcement of elected party-list MPs and uncertified constituency MPs is still under consideration by the EC.

. Constituency-based MPs whose election results have not been announced are undergoing vote recounts. According to the EC's resolution, the number is four constituencies. These include

  • Phayao Province, Constituency 1
  • Suphan Buri Province, Constituency 2
  • Chanthaburi Province, Constituency 1
  • Chanthaburi Province, Constituency 2

. The leading prospective MPs by unofficial count are as follows for these four constituencies:

  • Phayao Province, Constituency 1 Mr. Akkara Prompao from the Kla Tham Party
  • Suphan Buri Province, Constituency 2 Mr. Nattawut Prasertsuwan from the Bhumjaithai Party
  • Chanthaburi Province, Constituency 1 Mr. Suraphol Wiratyosin from the Bhumjaithai Party
  • Chanthaburi Province, Constituency 2 Mr. Kampee Chuenban from the Bhumjaithai Party
