
The Nakhon Ratchasima MP for constituency 8 from the Pheu Thai Party was the first on the second day to collect the election certificate at the Election Commission. On the first day, 141 MPs collected certificates from the Election Commission, mostly from the Bhumjaithai Party.
On 27 February 2026, reporters reported that on the second day at the Election Commission Office, the newly elected constituency members of parliament, whose election results have been certified—396 out of 400 constituencies—came to collect their election certificates to submit to the Secretariat of the House of Representatives for registration as new members of the 27th House of Representatives.
The Election Commission allowed the new MPs to collect their election certificates from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on 26-27 February and 2-6 March. On the first day, 141 out of 396 certified MPs collected their certificates: 61 from the Bhumjaithai Party, 43 from Pheu Thai, 24 from Kla Party, 5 from Democrat Party, 4 from Palang Pracharath, 3 from Prachachat, and 1 from New Opportunity Party.
So far, no constituency MPs from the Prachachon Party have come to collect certificates; reports indicate they plan to schedule a collective visit later along with the party-list MPs to collect certificates before reporting to the House of Representatives as a party.
This morning, the first MP to collect the election certificate since the desk opened was Mr. Nikorn Somklang, Nakhon Ratchasima MP for constituency 8 from Pheu Thai, who briefly told reporters that after receiving the certificate this morning, he would proceed to the House of Representatives to register as an MP along with other members..S.from the Pheu Thai Party. They will board the party bus at the Pheu Thai Party headquarters at 9:30 a.m. today. Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, Pheu Thai’s prime minister candidate and party-list MP-elect, will also attend.
Meanwhile, several other MPs continued arriving this morning to collect their certificates, including Mr. Cheongsak Rengpaiboonwong, Chaiyaphum MP for constituency 6 from the Bhumjaithai Party; Mr. Attapon Traisri, Phang Nga MP for constituency 1 from Bhumjaithai; Mr. Charat Neranchorn, Chanthaburi MP for constituency 3 from Bhumjaithai; Ms. Thiwalrat Angkinan, Phetchaburi MP for constituency 1 from Bhumjaithai; Mr. Sulaiman Buneepinae, Yala MP for constituency 1 from the Prachachat Party. Some MPs sent representatives to collect their certificates from the Election Commission to bring to the House of Representatives for registration.
