Bunying, Kla Tham MP, Appears at Parliament Says Meeting with Thammanat Was Work-Related Only

Bunying Nitikanjana, Ratchaburi MP from the Kla Tham Party, appeared to report to parliament, saying she does not yet know whether she will join the government. She confirmed that her discussion with Thammanat was only about work.


On 27 Feb 2026, the parliament building opened for the 27th House of Representatives members to report to the Secretariat Office on the second day, withMPs graduallyarriving to report from the morning. Bunying Nitikanjana, Ratchaburi MP from the Kla Tham Party, also came to report, telling reporters she needed to travel abroad and so reported early.


When asked if she had met with Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, chief advisor and Kla Tham’s prime ministerial candidate, Bunying paused briefly before saying, "This is Ratchaburi, not Phayao."


When asked if she was still part of the government,Bunyingsaid she did not know and had not yet spoken with Lt. Col. Thammanat.She added that the discussion with him was only about work matters.
