Sgt. Maj. Yotsingh declared that Kla Tham party MPs are ready to stand with Thammanat, remain united, and firmly deny any defections. He believes there is no need for special calls with anyone and that the "Captain" should be the one to decide.
At 14:30 on 27 Feb 2026, at the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Sgt. Maj. Yotsingh Liemlert, Deputy Minister of Industry, said after visiting the ministry and speaking with Capt. Thammanat Prompao, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, that nothing unusual occurred; it was just a normal conversation and not a consultation about joining the government.
Regarding when there will be clarity about joining the government, Sgt. Maj. Yotsingh said it depends on Capt. Thammanat. As for internal party discussions to clarify the matter, he said there will be none because everyone in the party already understands. There is no need for special calls with others; Capt. Thammanat will decide. He confirmed that everyone is ready to follow Capt. Thammanat’s decision.
When asked if there will be no defectors within the party, Sgt. Maj. Yotsingh said there definitely will be none and affirmed that they will stay united. He said they are ready to work with any side, as politicians must be adaptable and committed to serving the country regardless of their affiliation.
