New Vote Count in Suphan Buri Province Shows Differences of Over 100 Votes in Some Polling Stations

In the 2026 election, Suphan Buri province announced new vote counts from five polling stations, showing some stations had differences of over 100 votes from the original results.


Following the Suphan Buri Election Commission's order to recount votes for the provincial parliamentary election, two constituency polling stations were recounted: Polling Station 1 in Bang Ta Thoen Subdistrict, Song Phi Nong District, Constituency 2, and Polling Station 4 in Ban Chang Subdistrict, Song Phi Nong District, Constituency 2.

Additionally, three polling stations for the party-list MP vote were recounted: Polling Station 11 in Sanam Chai Subdistrict, Mueang Suphan Buri District, Constituency 1; Polling Station 1 in Bang Ta Thoen Subdistrict, Song Phi Nong District, Constituency 2; and Polling Station 4 in Ongkharak Subdistrict, Bang Pla Ma District, Constituency 2.

Meanwhile, the recount in Bang Pla Ma - Mueang Suphan Buri constituencies showed differences of only 1-2 votes compared to the original polling station committee's determination.

Mr. Komkrit Tipsomboon, Director of the Suphan Buri Election Commission, stated in a telephone interview that today's recount results revealed discrepancies compared to the original polling station committee's counts. This constitutes a violation of the law, and legal action will be pursued. Investigations and legal proceedings will be conducted against the original polling station committees.

He added that if vote counting was conducted improperly, a recount is proposed. If anyone violates the law, legal measures will be taken, as failure to do so would harm the overall reputation of Suphan Buri province.
