Ministry of Foreign Affairs Warns Thai Nationals in Iran and Israel to Evacuate or Seek Shelter Immediately

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a warning to Thai nationals in the Middle East, especially those in Iran and Israel, urging them to leave the area promptly and take refuge in shelters to protect themselves from missile attacks.


On 28 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a warning for Thai nationals residing inthe countriesin the Middle East region (second advisory) stating that

due to the current rising tensions in the Middle East, with the conflict likely to intensify and expand, potentially affecting the safety of Thai nationals residing there,


the Ministry advises Thai nationals in areas at risk from these tensions, especially in Iran and Israel, to promptly evacuate while commercial airlines are still operating (if services remain available), or consider moving to shelters (shelter)quickly to prevent harm from missile attacks.


Additionally,Thai nationals without urgent necessity are advised to carefully reconsider traveling to these areas due to the current uncertainty andpossiblerapid changes in the situation. Therefore, it is important to closely monitor information from reliable sources.
