
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul arrived at Buriram Airport accompanied by his wife to prepare for presiding over the opening ceremony of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship.
On 1 March 2026 at 10:55 a.m., Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul arrived at Buriram Airport in Satuek District, Buriram Province, to prepare for his duties as the presiding officer of the opening ceremony and award presentation for the 2026 MotoGP World Championship, "PT Grand Prix of Thailand 2026," held at Buriram International Circuit.
He was accompanied by Ms. Thannon Niramis, Chairwoman of the Spouses of Cabinet Members and Honorary Advisor of the Ministry of Interior's Housewives Association; Mr. Atsit Sampanrat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior; Mr. Chaiwat Chuenkosum, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and Head of Disaster Management and Urban Development Group; Mr. Naruecha Kosasivilai, Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration; along with Governors Anan Nakhiyom of Chaiyaphum Province, Anupong Suksamanit of Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Chumpit Decharat of Maha Sarakham Province; Lt. Col. Khetrath Chansilp, Acting Security Advisor; and Mr. Saharat Wongsakulwiwat, Acting Administrative Advisor. They were welcomed by Mr. Piya Pichnam, Governor of Buriram Province, together with local officials, staff, members of the Territorial Defense Volunteers, and local children and youth.
