Recount Results of Party-List MPs at Polling Station 74 in Din Daeng District Show No Difference from 8 Feb 2026

The recount of party-list MP votes at polling station 74, Constituency 6, Din Daeng district, Bangkok, showed the Prachachon Party winning decisively by 198 votes, consistent with the count on 8 Feb 2026 GMT+7.

At 12:00 on 1 Mar 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that after the Election Commission ordered a "recount" in Bangkok at polling station 74, Constituency 6, Din Daeng subdistrict, Din Daeng district, for the party-list MP ballot (pink ballot) only, the atmosphere at the front yard of the Bureau of Fast and Clean Government Administration (BFC) on the first floor of the Din Daeng District Office was active. Metropolitan Waterworks Authority staff had transported ballot boxes and equipment starting from 09:45.

The ballot boxes were opened and the recount began at 10:00.

After more than two hours of counting, the results showed the Prachachon Party leading with 198 votes, followed by the Bhumjaithai Party with 56 votes and the Democrat Party with 54 votes. These results matched the count from 8 February. The Election Commission will confirm and officially announce the results later.

The recount at this polling station was prompted by a video clip from election day 8 Feb 2026 showing overlapping ballots during vote calling and marking. This forced staff from the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority to reach under the papers to mark scores, making it difficult for voters to see, which led to complaints and the Election Commission's decision to order a recount today.
