
In the by-election results at polling station 6, Constituency 1 of Phayao Province, Akra Prompha, younger brother of Thammanat from the Kla Tham Party, won decisively in both the constituency and party-list seats.
On 1 Mar 2026, at the voting site located at the canteen of Ban Sala School, Mu 4, Tha Wang Thong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phayao Province, the vote counting atmosphere was observed.Votersparticipated in the election for constituency MP and party-list seats at polling station 6, Constituency 1 of Phayao Province. After voting ended, the ballot boxes were sealed, then opened for counting.
It was revealed thatthe counting resultsfor theconstituency MP and party-list seats in Constituency 1, polling station 6, Tha Wang Thong Subdistrict,
the candidate with the highest votes was Mr. Akra Prompha, number 3 from the Kla Tham Party, with 144 votes. Second was Mr. Wisa Boonnadda, number 2 from the People’s Party, with 42 votes.
For the party-list votes, the Kla Tham Party received 115 votes, while the People’s Partygot48 votes.
Mrs. Panadda Chanchotiyan, Director of the Phayao Provincial Election Commission, said the voting atmosphere and turnoutwerepeaceful and orderly during the parliamentary and party-list elections at polling station 6, Constituency 1,Tha Wang Thong Subdistrict,Mueang District, Phayao Province.A total of 227 voters participated out of 439 eligible voters,representing 50 percent of the eligiblevoters.After the ballot boxes were closed, votes were counted and results consolidated for further procedures.
