On 2 Mar 2026 GMT+7, the Royal Gazette website published a royal decree granting ecclesiastical titles to two monks. It stated that His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua has graciously bestowed royal decrees appointing two monks to senior ecclesiastical ranks as follows:
1. Phra Ratchawattharammathon is appointed as Phra Thep Wattharammathon Wimonsilajanavith Paisansanakitjathorn Yatikhanissara Bowornsangharam Kamwasi, a senior monk of the Thep rank residing at Wat Phra That Muen Hin, Kalasin Province. His ecclesiastical hierarchy includes five levels: Phra Kru Palat 1, Phra Kru Winai Thon 1, Phra Kru Sangharak 1, Phra Kru Samuh 1, and Phra Kru Baidika 1.
2. Phra Kru Sophon Winaivat is appointed as Phra Ratchawattharajason Kosolborihanwakit Yatikhanissara Bowornsangharam Kamwasi, a senior monk of the Ratcha rank residing at Wat Burapha Khok Khruea, Kalasin Province. His ecclesiastical hierarchy includes four levels: Phra Kru Palat 1, Phra Kru Sangharak 1, Phra Kru Samuh 1, and Phra Kru Baidika 1.
These appointments are effective from 1 Mar 2026 GMT+7.
