The Suphanburi Election Commission appointed a committee to investigate polling station officials 1 and 4 in electoral district 2 of Suphanburi Province, determining there is credible belief they acted improperly after the new vote count results differed from the first.
At 15:30 on 2 March 2026, the Suphanburi Provincial Election Commission office released information regarding the February 27, 2026 vote recount for Suphanburi's House of Representatives election and the actions taken against those who violated or failed to comply with election laws.
The Suphanburi Election Commission discovered images and video clips on social media showing polling station officials improperly counting votes by not displaying ballots to voters to verify the marking, and marking ballots in a way that voters could not see the markings. The commission conducted a fact-finding investigation and recommended to the Election Commission a full vote recount.
Subsequently, the Election Commission issued Order No. 306/2569 dated 24 February 2026, mandating a new vote count for Suphanburi's House of Representatives election as follows.
For constituency-based representatives, a recount was ordered at polling station 1 in Bang Ta Thoen Subdistrict, Song Phi Nong District, Suphanburi Province, electoral district 2; and polling station 4 in Ban Chang Subdistrict, Song Phi Nong District, Suphanburi Province, electoral district 2.
For party-list representatives, a recount was ordered at polling station 11 in Sanam Chai Subdistrict, Mueang Suphanburi District, Suphanburi Province, electoral district 1; polling station 1 in Bang Ta Thoen Subdistrict, Song Phi Nong District, Suphanburi Province, electoral district 2; and polling station 4 in Ongkharak Subdistrict, Bang Pla Ma District, Suphanburi Province, electoral district 2.
The Election Commission offices for electoral districts 1 and 2 announced the date, time, and location for the new House of Representatives vote count on Friday, 27 February 2026. The new count proceeded smoothly at polling station 11 in Sanam Chai Subdistrict, Mueang Suphanburi District, electoral district 1, and polling station 4 in Ongkharak Subdistrict, Bang Pla Ma District, electoral district 2.
However, the new vote count results differed from those on 8 February 2026, leading to credible belief that polling station officials acted improperly at polling station 1 in Bang Ta Thoen Subdistrict, Song Phi Nong District, electoral district 2 for both constituency and party-list votes, and at polling station 4 in Ban Chang Subdistrict, Song Phi Nong District, electoral district 2 for constituency votes.
The Suphanburi Provincial Election Director has accepted the case that polling station officials at stations 1 and 4 in electoral district 2 acted improperly on 8 February 2026 as an investigation matter. The director assigned the provincial investigation and adjudication committee to proceed with an inquiry under the Election Commission regulations on investigation, adjudication, and resolution of disputes B.E. 2561 (2018) and amendments, to take legal action against offenders and related parties.
