Mr. Warayut JongaksanMP forConstituency 2 of Yasothon said that the party scheduled all constituency MPs to report in persontogether on 5 March, but since his family is currently observing a mourning period due to his mother's passing, he chose to receive his certification letter today. He will decide the timing to report in later. He expressed joy and pride at being elected as a first-term MP, emphasizing his commitment to serve since Yasothon is a transit provinceand most residents are farmers who have not yet seen sufficient development. Thus, standing in this position, he wants to advance his home province further. He aims to address issues from two perspectives: global events such as the war in Iran and trade wars directly and indirectly affecting farmers, including rising oil and fertilizer prices. The government and MPs must find measures to assist farmers. Regarding agricultural products like rice, cassava, and rubber, which are important commodities, it is essential to push for higher prices so that farmers can improve their quality of life.Mr. Warayut added that he agrees with the management approach of Commerce Minister Ms. Supachai Suthamphan, who has previously worked on agricultural products by seeking new markets, balancing domestic supply and demand, and in the future may promote cultivating crop varieties or rice strains that better meet market demands. In his first 100 days in office, he intends to focus on raising off-season rice prices, as this is the production season and a hope for farmers and rice growers.
