On 3 March 2026 at 20:20, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Chanvirakul, accompanied by his wife Thannon Niramits and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Atthit Sampanrat, joined the candlelight procession around the ordination hall at Wat Bowonniwet Vihara on Magha Puja Day 2026.
Anutin wore a simple blue polo shirt as he walked the candlelight procession around the ordination hall alongside attendees. At times, citizens asked to take photos with him, complimenting, "He looks truly handsome, like a young boy."
