He gave an interview at the Government House regarding rumors about his name being considered for Speaker of the House of Representatives. He said he is unaware of this, but noted that the Election Commission (EC) has certified the MPs, which is followed by the list MPs reporting themselves. The next step is for the Secretary-General of the House to send a letter to the government to respectfully request the royal command to convene parliament, after which the Speaker will be elected.
