Je Maew Files Complaint to Ombudsman Seeking to Remove Anutin Over Mass Civil Servant Transfers and Election Card Issues

“Je Maew” Kusumalwatee files a complaint with the Ombudsman to investigate serious ethical violations by Anutin concerning a large-scale transfer of civil servants, while also demanding updates on the Khao Kradong land case.

On 4 March 2026 at the Ombudsman’s office, Mrs. Kusumalwatee Sirikomut, known as “Je Maew,” former MP of Maha Sarakham, submitted a complaint to the Ombudsman requesting an investigation into the conduct and ethical behavior of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul (or his position at that time) on several key issues.

Mrs. Kusumalwatee revealed that after consulting legal advisors and seeing little progress from filing complaints with the Election Commission (EC), she decided to appeal to the Ombudsman. Her main concern is the transfer of senior civil servants, including over 50 provincial governors, and the appointment of numerous district chiefs as election directors. She views these actions as preparations to benefit election outcomes. While legal prosecution may be difficult, ethically these are serious offenses, especially the use of transfer powers while serving as acting prime minister, which she considers highly inappropriate.

Additionally, she raised concerns about the lack of transparency in election card printing, citing a printing house in the Din Daeng area linked to an excessive number of ballots or “misaligned cards.” She also noted errors in vote counting by officials in many polling stations nationwide, reflecting a flawed and non-transparent process. Furthermore, she urged the Ombudsman to expedite the Khao Kradong land case and the illegal runway issue previously submitted to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), which have since gone silent. She confirmed having key evidence, including court documents and clear financial trails, and pledged to fight to the end to hold all responsible parties ethically accountable.
