Ekniti revealed that today he is leading IMF representatives to meet Prime Minister Anutin to prepare for hosting the 2026 IMF-World Bank meeting in Thailand this October.
At 9:30 a.m. on 5 March 2026 at the Government House, Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, announced that at 10:45 a.m. today, he will lead the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to meet Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul. They will discuss Thailand hosting the World Bank and IMF (IMF-World Bank 2026) global meeting in October. Today, they will inspect the readiness of the venue at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
