Lt. Col. Thammanat arrived at the ministry at about 3:10 p.m. with a bright smile. When reporters asked if there was any good news, he simply replied, “No, just came to work as usual.” He then smiled.
Regarding the problem of rising fertilizer prices, Lt. Col. Thammanat said he would instruct Mr. Winarot Sapsongsuk, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, to have the Department of Agriculture urgently address the issue.
Reporters tried to ask further about the rumor of joining the government without Lt. Col. Thammanat's name in the cabinet, to which he briefly responded, “I just heard it from the reporters.”
