Election Commission Quiet on Final Day as Most MPs Send Representatives to Collect Certificates, Only Two Collect in Person

On the final day, the Election Commission was quiet as Pheu Thai, United Thai Nation, and Prachachat parties sent representatives to collect their party-list MP certificates. Only "Mr. Kriang" from Bhumjaithai remained, while "Kung Fu" will come at noon. All constituency MPs have already collected their certificates.


On 6 March 2026 GMT+7, reporters described the atmosphere at the Election Commission (EC) office as MPs came to collect their certificates in the second-floor reception room. This final day was quiet in the morning since most MPs had already collected their certificates. All 399 constituency MPs, whose results have been certified, have collected their certificates.

Of the 100 party-list MPs, 85 have collected their certificates, leaving 15 remaining as follows.

Pheu Thai party: 11 people.

  • Ms. Sutawan Wangsupakitkosol.
  • Mr. Thongtham Vechayachai.
  • Mr. Adisorn Piangkaes.

Later, at 10:00 a.m., it was found that authorized representatives had come to collect certificates on behalf of all 11 individuals.

As for United Thai Nation party, one person, Mr. Peeraphan Sareeratwipak, sent legal team representatives to collect the certificate this morning. Mr. Peeraphan has not yet announced when he will report to Parliament, including Prachachat party, one person, Police Colonel Tawee Sodsong sent a representative to collect his certificate from the EC.

Meanwhile, Bhumjaithai party has one remaining, Mr. Krisada Leenawarat. And Thai Ruam Palang party has one remaining, Mr. Wasawat Puangpornsi, the party leader, who will come in person around noon today. Yesterday (5 March), he brought five constituency MPs from the party to report to Parliament.
