On 6 March 2026, Sakolthee Pattiyakul, a party-list MP from the Democrat Party, went to the Parliament in the afternoon to formally report for duty and prepare for his official work in Parliament.
Sakolthee said he must thank people nationwide who voted extensively for the Democrat Party, which gave him the chance to serve in Parliament. He assured that he is ready to work from the very first parliamentary session.
“I will bring my knowledge and abilities, along with my team, to work on developing the country, especially urgent matters that help solve problems or support the nation’s progress. We will address livelihood issues and the well-being of the people. The policies beneficial to national development will be presented by my team and me in parliamentary sessions on behalf of the people to enable solutions, improvements, and further progress.”
Sakolthee emphasized that regardless of his or the Democrat Party’s role, he is confident they are ready to drive full parliamentary work from day one to ensure all Thai people live happily and have improved well-being.
