At 17:00 on 6 Mar 2026 at Government House, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, serving as director of the Middle East Conflict Management and Monitoring Center, convened the first meeting. The assembly reviewed reports on the Middle East conflict and discussed operational plans and preparedness of relevant agencies to handle potential impacts on the economy, energy, trade, tourism, and the safety of Thai nationals abroad.
The Energy Minister emphasized that Thailand's energy situation remains stable. The government continues to diversify energy import sources from various countries and appropriately manages oil reserve levels. Additionally, the temporary suspension of oil exports has been implemented, alongside plans to promote energy conservation measures. The public is urged to closely follow updates from government agencies and to remain calm amid the situation.
