Bhumjaithai to File Defamation Complaint Against Seri Phisut This Week, Reaffirms No Intent to Invite Him into Government

Supachai revealed that Bhumjaithai never intended to invite Seri Ruam Thai to join the government. He disclosed that the party and Anutin are preparing to file defamation charges against Seri Phisut within this week after he claimed that efforts to include him in the government were disrespectful.

At 08:20 on 8 Mar 2026 GMT+7 at Chang International Circuit, Mueang District, Buriram Province, Supachai Jaisamut, party-list MP and legal officer of Bhumjaithai Party, addressed allegations made by Police General Seri Phisut Temiyavet, party-list MP and leader of the Seri Ruam Thai Party. He emphasized that Bhumjaithai never considered inviting Police General Seri Phisut to join the government coalition because during the election, Seri Phisut committed violations under the Organic Act on the Election of MPs by making false accusations against Bhumjaithai. The party filed a complaint with the Election Commission (EC), which established a subcommittee to investigate the matter, and the investigation is ongoing.

Therefore, it is certain thatthe fact thatBhumjaithai is pursuing legal action means the party does not wish to invite him to collaborate. His assumption that we would include his party is merely his own conjecture. Bhumjaithai has never invited Police General Seri Phisut's party to join.Bhumjaithaiat all. Thus, his claims are purely imaginative and unfounded. We affirm that Bhumjaithai has never extended an invitation to him.

"The case Bhumjaithai submitted to the EC concerned his accusations about corruption involving 4 billion baht for organizing the MotoGP event. If the investigation finds that Police General Seri Phisut violated Section 73, Clause 5, he must be referred to court, which may disqualify him from being an MP if found guilty. I advise him to focus on defending himself in that case. Regarding his recent statements over the past two days, in which he accused Bhumjaithai Party and Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior as head of Bhumjaithai, we confirm that the party and Anutin will file defamation charges against Police General Seri Phisut for advertising defamation, to be pursued within this week," said Supachai.

Supachai said, "We understand that today he appears to be exhibiting symptoms of unawareness of his own condition—what psychology might call high self-confidence or narcissism. The country must move forward. Out of respect for his age and his claim of being an honest man, I would remind him that physical actions, thoughts, and words must align with being a good person. One can do good deeds, but if one's words are improper, there is a risk of legal consequences."
