"Taepiphop" rode his trusted motorcycle to report to parliament as the last member of the Prachachon Party. He emphasized that although he came last, he is definitely not a party defector. He thanked all voters from Bang Phlat and Bangkok Noi for electing him to work for them and serve their interests fairly and faithfully, as promised.
On 10 March 2026 at the parliament, Mr. Taepiphop Limjitkorn, an MP from the Prachachon Party, reported to parliament as the last member of his party. This followed the previous day when the party leader, Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, led 117 MPs to report in together.
Today, Mr. Taepiphop arrived at parliament riding his trusted motorcycle—the same one he used during his campaign in Bang Phlat and Bangkok Noi. He greeted the waiting media with waves and smiles at the B1 level, where MPs report. He said he registered as an MP on the very last day and also reported in last among the party members.
After receiving his MP ID card, Mr. Taepiphop explained that he missed yesterday's group reporting due to family commitments but had informed the party leader in advance. He thanked everyone for not spreading rumors that he was a party defector, saying if he were to betray the party, it would have happened long ago. He added that coming last to report in after the others is no problem. Despite being last, he has been active in the constituency, gathering information and addressing many issues for the people of Bang Phlat and Bangkok Noi.
Regarding his goals for working in Bang Phlat and Bangkok Noi, Mr. Taepiphop said being the top representative is always challenging. Although this district is new to him, he has previously served two terms as an MP in Thonburi, and this is his third term working in a similar area. He thanked city government agencies under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) for assisting with local fire issues. While his influence as an MP is limited, these are city-level problems. In the future, if the BMA governor and local councilors come from the Prachachon Party, coordination and problem-solving will become smoother. He is also preparing for the July local council elections, aiming for the party to win at the local level across the province.
On how he won the trust of people in Bang Phlat and Bangkok Noi, Mr. Taepiphop admitted the challenge, especially since the previous candidate faced problems and negative publicity. When campaigning, he approached voters with genuine commitment. He acknowledged it was difficult to convince people to trust him over his predecessor, but he proved himself through work in the nearby Khlong San district. After the election, he has continued to visit the area actively, just as he did while campaigning.
