Bhumjaithai Party Energized in MPs Meeting Ahead of Parliamentary Opening Eyes Pheu Thai’s Cabinet List Submission

The Bhumjaithai Party held a meeting of MPs ahead of the parliament opening, revealing its strategy team’s goal to overhaul outdated laws and closely watching Pheu Thai’s cabinet list submission.

On 12 March 2026 at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, members of parliament and party officials gathered to prepare for the royal ceremony on 14 March and the opening of the 27th House of Representatives on 15 March. Key leaders and MPs, including Mr. Supachai Jaisamut, Mr. Karavee Prisananantakul, and the party’s new MPs, attended the meeting in full.

In the morning, the party’s strategy team met to set legislative agendas. Reports indicate that under the “Anutin 2” government, the policy will focus on "legislation leading administration," emphasizing the scrapping or “guillotine” of outdated laws that obstruct citizens’ livelihoods and investment, aiming to genuinely stimulate the grassroots economy.

A key highlight is that the Pheu Thai Party, led by Mr. Julaphan Amornwiwat, party leader, and Mr. Prasert Chandrawong, party secretary-general, will visit Bhumjaithai Party headquarters to submit their list of cabinet nominees under Pheu Thai’s quota, as well as the nominee for the second deputy speaker position, to Bhumjaithai’s executive committee. This is part of final preparations before government formation and the parliamentary session opening.
